Attractive and unique little shop with charm. Is suitable for cozy coffee and cake. In addition to the homemade cakes, the Elefanten Haus scores with regional and always fresh main courses. I especially like the Maultaschen.

Mega nice, tasty and cozy

Medium-good coffee (fully automatic), Very tasty homemade cakes. Unfortunately, we were repeatedly received very unfriendly by the owner, which is why I deduct two stars. We got to the cafe shortly after 5, unfortunately the first thing we heard in a rather harsh tone was that they want to close shortly before 6 and we have to be ready by then. The whole thing can be phrased differently. Unfortunately, this was not the first time that the tone of voice did not create a pleasant atmosphere.

Do you love elephants? Here they are available in all sizes and colors. The lovingly renovated elephant house, which stood empty for a long time, is filled again with people who just love this atmosphere. Old half-timbered house in a new look. The new owner loves to pamper guests with homemade baked goods. Next to my coffee cup, made of the finest ceramic, lies a tiny, homemade elephant biscuit.

Those who like elephants will love the elephant house! Great half-timbered house with a very tasty breakfast and hearty dishes. The food is plentiful and the price cannot be beat. The service is very attentive and has left nothing to be desired. The numerous sculptures and pictures of elephants gave us a great stay. We recommend.

Yesterday as part of a cultural excursion with an assembly colleague, met this wonderful café, great ambience, the cakes delicious and the coffee with milk too Great cafe in a great place 👍

In my opinion the best breakfast restaurant in Erbach / Michelstadt. We sat well, ate well and were served very friendly. The prices were ok too. I would go right here on our next stay in the Odenwald.

1 x table got hold of - food could not be prepared due to lack of staff. 2nd attempt today: sit down, choose food and drink, then we were told that the table was reserved and you forgot to put a sign on it. Good location, incompetent service.

We had a wonderful breakfast in the elephant house. I can recommend it to everybody. The ambience and the dishes - just wonderful! The homemade cinnamon rolls were delicious. The service was consistently friendly and courteous. We will be back!

Nice cozy café with charm. Very nice decor and especially the dishes is really a highlight. Cake is homemade and tastes great.

Miserable and insolent service. Then there was complaint about the amount of the tip, although the waitress really didn't deserve anything. If you tip less than 15%, you have to expect abuse - also from the boss. Too bad, actually we just wanted to enjoy a nice breakfast ...

Cake can taste so delicious. In bright sunshine, we enjoyed a homemade apple and cherry cake and every calorie was a pleasure. Very tasty and just to be recommended.

Cafe Latte was great. Carrot cake the small side with average flavour for my liking. Service pleasant

Idyllic little half-timbered house with inviting flair. Registration and seat reservation necessary, because little space. We were two and had accidentally get space next to the door on the windowsill. Delicious regional breakfast for a good price and great views of the former old tannery.

Meditatively furnished place in the picturesque old town. Nice selection of homemade cakes. Nice service.

A great little café with a fantastic location in the old town. Food and drinks are freshly prepared. The waitresses are friendly. We'd love to come back.
